Matsuyama begins, ends day in 5th at Memorial

After an initial dip down the leaderboard, Hideki Matsuyama finished the day at the Memorial in the same place he started it.
Matsuyama shot a 2-under 70 in the final round Sunday to finish tied for fifth place at 12-under 276, three shots behind top finishers David Lingmerth of Sweden and Britain’s Justin Rose. Lingmerth won the title in a playoff.
