Japan's Hideki Matsuyama on Thursday pulled out of the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open ahead of the first round because of illness.Matsuyama was hitting balls in practice but left the course before the start of play. He withdrew due to a stomach problem brought on by fatigue, according to sources.
